Somervale Village Care Home - Metlifecare

At the heart of Metlifecare Somervale retirement village, is a new 69-bed innovative integrated homestead design Care Home that offers outstanding clinical care in a warm and comfortable setting. Our family friendly care home consists of groups of 11-12 resident rooms with a shared kitchen, dining room and lounge to encourage social interaction and a homely environment.

Well established in the local community for over 30 years, with a friendly and comfortable feel, residents find it easy to call Somervale home. Each of our resident’s rooms comes a full ensuite, wide screen television and a heat pump. Residents have 24-hour access to our team of care staff and nurses, and an emergency call button in each room. A physiotherapist visits twice a week (or as needed) and a podiatrist visits monthly. We also have a hairdresser available for in-room visits upon request.

In addition, we offer new serviced apartments with lots of modern enhancements for those who value their independence but may need support with daily tasks like cleaning and laundry or personal care such as showering. Meals are included, which can be either be taken in your apartment or the dining room. Apartments are equipped with 24-hour emergency call buttons, are very homely and close to all the facilities on offer in the village.
