Bayswater is a resort-like village just a street back from Mt Maunganui beach. Our brand new care suites offers rest home and hospital levels of care (subject to availability). Spread out on 21 acres of stunning grounds and framed with palm trees, with views over to the Mount and the Kaimai’s.
All care suites are modern, spacious, and include a kitchenette and ensuite. Our care suites are dual purpose, meaning they can cater for either rest home or hospital level care depending on the resident’s needs and some of the care suites are large enough to accommodate couples. This means couples who are assessed as requiring residential care at rest home or hospital-level may remain together even if one of them requires hospital-level care.
Residents have the freedom to make their care suite feel like home. You can bring in your own furniture, artwork, and other personal belongings to create a space that is comfortable and familiar to you.
Bayswater is a gated community, which means the village is open during the day, but locked at night for your peace of mind.
Bayswater village is part of Metlifecare.
