Bainlea House is a 27-bed secure dementia unit and is one of the three Lifecare facilities in Rangiora. This purpose-built home, set in tranquil surroundings, offers both long-term care and respite care in a safe, caring environment.

Room sizes vary at Bainlea, with a choice of premium rooms (up to $15 extra per day) or non-premium. Rooms have a modern call bell system and the whole facility is fully secure. Living with dementia isn’t easy, so Bainlea staff are highly trained, experienced caregivers offering round the clock care for their residents.

Bainlea staff offer residents a comprehensive programme of activities within the unit, and have regular excursions for those who like to get out and about. The home has a library, a hair salon, wifi and two living/television areas. Family and friends are more than welcome to visit any time and to join in activities whenever they wish to.
