We have provided support and care to the Cambridge community for over 50 years and our retirement village has something quite unique – the feel of a real neighbourhood. The villas, units, cottages and apartments vary in size, appearance and price, offering a range of accommodation options for seniors in our community. There is shared capital gain for cottages, units, villas, and one- and two-bedroom apartments under an Occupation Right Agreement - any capital gain is shared 50/50 between Cambridge Resthaven and you.
Our Occupation Right Agreement terms also provide priority access to care if the need arises, and there are no refurbishment costs when you leave. Our To & Fro companion driving service provides a friendly, reliable pay-per-trip, door-to-door service, whether it's an appointment, shopping, a trip, or a shuttle to the airport.
Our location is hard to beat with shops and cafes just a 10-minute stroll away, plus we have supported living apartments and care, should needs change.
On-site amenities to enjoy include the Coffee Post Cafe, General Store and Village Centre, or unwind in nature with a walk through our beautiful Te Puna Marama (Moon Spring) native bush area. Read less

The Views on Vogel villas are our newest village expansion. These two- and three-bedroom villas are in a picturesque Cambridge setting, among established trees in beautiful grounds.
Serviced Apartments
Our supported living apartments are modern, beautifully designed apartments situated in the heart of the village. These care studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments offer exceptional comfort and the convenience of supported living.
Units
The Court and The Close one- and two-bedroom units offer attractive, well-thought-out designs, situated in Vogel Street across the road from the main Cambridge Resthaven complex.
Cottages
Discover our charming one- and two-bedroom brick cottages in Resthaven Gardens. These classic homes, built in the 1970s and 1980s, offer a perfect blend of comfort and convenience in the heart of the village. Photos are digitally staged.
