Highfield Country Estate is located on nine and a half hectares of scenic rural land in Te Awamutu. The village enjoys a peaceful country position, as well as convenient access to local amenities. We are just a few minutes drive from the town centre, which means an easy trip to the local aquatic centre, cinema, library and golf course.
Residents are already settled in the first villas at Highfield Country Estate. When completed, the village will consist of 116 two and three bedroom houses. We have a number of floor plans to choose from, with alternatives such as walk-in wardrobes or separate laundry areas. There's also the option to alter our layouts if you have a special piece of furniture, hobby or mobility need to consider. All our villas are fitted with a 24-hour emergency response system, and have heat pumps as standard. The gates at Highfield Country Estate are locked in the evening, and a nightly security patrol will give you further peace of mind.
We're in the process of building a community centre, which will serve as the heart of community life. Highfield Lodge will house a swimming pool and spa, formal and informal dining, gymnasium, craft room, movie theatre, men's workshop, yoga/pilates room, library, pool table and bowling green. We're currently using a temporary centre, which includes a lounge and dining facilities, pool table and well-stocked library. Residents also enjoy a busy activities calendar, full of outings, guest speakers and special events.
