Very much part of the vibrant community of Elmswood Retirement Village, our Rest Home and hospital facility provides excellent 24 hour care in comfortable surroundings. Our award winning gardens and community centre makes Elmswood an outstanding choice in rest home care.

We have 54 comfortable single bedrooms that are all located in the main building. Residents are invited to make their private room very much their own, with furnishings and artwork and other precious possessions.We want you to feel at home. All of our rooms have ensuite toilets, with communal showers close by. Underfloor heating keeps our residents cosy and a call button in every bedroom means that a friendly and experienced nurse is always close at hand. Rooms also have TV and private phone lines and each has a pleasant view.

Our rest home has access to all the wonderful facilities available in the Retirement Village, and enjoys its own spacious lounge that’s used for activities, movies and entertainment. Visitors are encouraged, so there are also more intimate sitting areas where you can relax with friends and family. There’s also a well-stocked library and weekly outings arranged for residents.
