Being centrally located allows for easy visits from family and friends. Elmswood is an ideal choice for quality care in a welcoming environment.
We offer a true care home experience through our 25 individual Care Suites. Alternatively for those seeking supported living, our Apartments provide the flexibility of care, including rest home and hospital-level care within a assisted living setting.
Our team is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality clinical care, with staff always nearby to offer support and reassurance.
Life at Elmswood is about more than just care —residents enjoy companionship and connection. We welcome loved ones to visit regularly and spend time together in our shared lounges. And between visits, there's never a dull moment, with organised activities giving residents opportunities for company when they feel like joining in. A new village cafe is also due to open at the end of 2027, creating another inviting space for residents and families to catch up over a cup of tea.
There's no large upfront payment required for our Care Suites, and Health NZ funding is available for eligible residents following a needs assessment.
