Whangārei Park Village offers independent living in 14 single level villas rest home, hospital and secure dementia care. Each contemporary villa has two double bedrooms, open plan kitchen/dining lounge area as well as carport, central heating and its own landscaped garden. A 24-hour emergency alarm system connects to the nurses station in our adjacent rest home.

The heart of the village is a large, historic kauri villa, which houses the communal facilities, including a new cafe, a residents’ lounge and crafts room, library, shop and hair salon. Join a game of indoor bowls or catch a screening of the latest film. Local shops are just a short walk from the village.

The grounds at Whangārei Park Village include open spaces fringed with mature trees and a native bush backdrop populated by puriris, kowhai and native birds. Residents enjoy picking summer berries in our strawberry fields.

Beyond the village, there are nature walks at the nearby Raumanga Scenic Reserve Waterfall.
