Village life at Parklane is full of things to do, and people to do them with. The social community centre at the heart of our village includes comfortable lounges, a restaurant and café, indoor swimming pool and gymnasium. Other facilities include a bloke’s shed, bowling green, craft room and billiards table. Our activities schedule is packed with daily events, from community dinners and quiz nights to exercise classes and line dancing – something for everyone.

Residents of Parklane Village have the choice of both independent and assisted living. Our standalone brick villas are easy to look after, and come in one, two and three bedroom configurations with open plan living spaces and well-equipped kitchens. Most include an outdoor living space and garden, as well as a garage or car parking space. For those who need a little more day-to-day help, our serviced apartments may be the answer. Enjoy the privacy and freedom of having your own home, but with extra help with meals, cleaning and heavy laundry. All Parklane Village housing options are fitted with 24-hour emergency call buttons.

Enjoy a great retirement lifestyle at Parklane Village. For more information, please make an enquiry.

Can residents make alterations to their property? ×
Alterations for reason such as a disability may be arranged with management's approval. The resident will be required to cover all costs associated with the alteration. When the resident leaves the village, they may be required to revert the unit to its original state (at the resident’s cost) unless the new resident wishes to buy the property with the alterations in place.
What do resident fees cover? ×
The resident fee covers the day-to-day operation of the village such as lawn & garden maintenance, rubbish collection, rates, insurance etc.
How long is the cooling off period once the contract is signed? ×
As per the Retirement Villages Act, the cooling off period after an Occupation Right Agreement has been signed is 15 working days.
When leaving the village, what is the process for units being sold? ×
Units are advertised at market value. Residents are welcome to introduce a prospective resident as long as they meet the normal entry criteria of the village.
Can residents have friends & family to stay? ×
Yes, residents are welcome to have friends and family stay for a maximum of 3 months. Longer stays require management approval.
What does the entry fee cover? ×
The entry cost gives the resident the right to live in the unit for their lifetime or as long as they choose. When the resident leaves the village they will receive the cost paid minus the deferred management fee and any other charges due.
What are the residents rights if the village got into financial difficulty? ×
Residents are protected through a first ranking mortgage with the Village's Statutory Supervisor. They hold first ranking mortgage over the village land in order to ensure priority and security for the rights of all residents. The statutory supervisor also ensures the operator of the village acts in accordance with the Disclosure Statements and the village is run in a financially responsible manner.
What happens if there is a delay in sale? ×
If the property has not been sold within 3 months the village is required to let the resident (or enduring power of attorney) know in writing and provide monthly reports until it is sold. These reports will contain what steps the village is taking to market the property and the progress being made. If the property has not been sold after 6 months then the village (at its expense) must obtain a written valuation by an independent registered valuer. The resident is welcome to have their own valuation completed (at their cost) with a registered valuer. The village is then required to market the property according to the agreed valuation. If the property has not been sold after 9 months then the resident has the option to raise a dispute notice in accordance with the Occupation Right Agreement.
