What is retargeting, and how does it help?

Retargeting is a clever marketing practice that allows you to focus your advertising spend on people you
know already have some degree of interest. With retargeting, you can advertise to people who have
viewed Village Guide, by placing ads on other websites they visit or on Facebook.

How does it work?

We have pixels on our website that allow us to show ads to anyone who leaves Village Guide and visits another site. This means an Ad for your village can be shown to someone who has expressed an interest in retirement villages by visiting Village Guide’s website. Retargeting is far more effective than using ads to target ‘cold traffic’.
