Summerset Mountain View care centre enjoys a peaceful, semi-rural location just five minutes’ drive from central New Plymouth. The centre is designed to make the most of natural sunlight and enjoys views of Mount Taranaki.
There are three types of care accommodation at the centre: standard, premium or deluxe rooms. All rooms comfortably accommodate a television, chair, and a few small items of furniture. Bathrooms feature an accessible shower, grab rails, and slip resistant floors.
Summerset Mountain View offers a wide range of facilities and activities for residents to enjoy. The on-site Activities Coordinator plans a full calendar of events, while facilities such as the library, lounge (with large-screen TV), and cafe are available all year round.
The centre offers a full continuum of care, including supported living, supported living plus, premium care, rest home care, hospital care, and short-term & respite care. One-off and add-on services are also available.
